The truth is, once I'm looking for a trainer for a game it is because that game has already stopped engaging me.
Everspace is a perfect example of this. I bought ES because I like space combat simulators, but the rogue-like aspect was a complete turn off for me. The combat, tight controls, and graphics were excellent however, so I wanted to play through the game anyway.
In comes the trainer.
Made an otherwise flop of a game a wonderful, impervious experience for myself.
