For some reason, the instant construction/recruiting cheat doesn't work on structures in the Soviet or Empire of the Rising Sun Campaigns. I've already tried closing and restarting the game and trainer but to no avail.

That's because building process is different for each side. For example, the Empire produces drones that can be transformed into structures (as I recall from long time ago, just started playing again and finished only the first campaign for now). Instant build option only works for the Allies (it's like that only for buildings, units for all factions are produced instantly), sad but true. A little workaround: capture Construction Center (forgot the exact name) of the Allies and their buildings will be built instantaneously . Useful if you need to quickly make some defence towers, also mixing technology is fun . Especially it was like that in RA2 when you, say, put Tesla soldier in I.F.V.

instant construction works for all . allied works the best, but for Soviet and Empire you need to push F2 while its construction then it completed immediately

well there are only 3 options to select so i think its best to let the brain work a little yeah?

Actually, there are two options . 2 & 3 rely on the same button. And it's not really obvious to constantly enable/disable option during construction.
By the way, tried your advice with the Empire: doesn't work like that. No effect of enabling/disabling option during construction (deployment of building's cores). But this option partially works: building's cores are produced instantly . It's their deployment where the waiting is. Didn't try your advice with the Soviet for now.
I found out one more thing: clearance updates (Allies) and building updates (Empire) most of the time are not completed instantly, but if paused/canceled and restarted - works just fine.

This doesn't have an F3 option at all, for building sometimes it works but mostly it doesn't. Could somebody shed some light why?
