Yep. You can still be killed by things that just need to touch you to damage you. Like those rolling balls of bodies.

Can confirm ; Devs actually went by their word, despite claiming abandoning the game due to finances and legal censorship barriers, 5 months later Agony Unrated is HEREEEEEEE. And at a highly discounted price, and new videos to boot!
