Trainer v1.0.7 build 170910 isn't working, I open the game, start the trainer, choose an option, it makes an error ding, and nothing happens. using gog version if it makes any difference.

i had a struggle too to get the trainer working
the solution was the game exe - trainer points to application-steam-x64.exe - i had a application-x64.exe
so rename the exe (add those -steam-) and trainer works fine
have a nice weekend

For People that cant get the trainer to work !
1. Rename your *exe into " application-steam-x64.exe "
2. Exit the game and open Task Manager to see if it actually close ! if not close it manually by pressing " delete " key on your keyboard.
3. Turn off Anti Virus and extract the Trainer again !
4. Turn off your UAC
5. If none of those above working for u ?... try to look at the trainer version and your game version
- You can check your game version by opening the game, under the main menu there a version # number !
6. None of those help you ? try to uninstall the game and forget about cheating !

what exactly does the edit function do? i can open and click in any editable field in the game and it does not populate the edit drop down box, nor does changing the slider affect any resources that I can see.

The edit function usually allows you to remap the keys that trigger the different cheats. Though MAF does have a few trainers where you edit the field in the trainer and the value reflects in-game.
