I've always used the Mrantfun trainers and I've never noticed any bug in the system for using these files! disable the antivirus download extract to the folder that you want the trainer to stay and activate the antivirus if it sends to quarantine restore the file and the antivirus never bother you with this file!!!

I've honestly had nothing but trouble with this one. In addition to getting multiple virus alerts for it, which I'm assuming is a false positive due to the way trainers work... but still having multiple different types is abnormal, it just flat out refuses to work. I start the game, tab out to open the trainer up, spend some money, activate the money cheat, spend some more money, and then sit there in fascination as my game tanks in terms of performance down to a slideshow culminating in it completely crashing.

ran the trainer on virus total, its being flagged my most, my sophos and many are tagging it as malware generic-S sor spy and mining. i know you might need support, i dont mind donating but this outright wont work for me on v.1.11

I've tried it and the 1.12 trainer does not work. A new update is needed by the Campus DLC.
