I can't get this to work.
Do I open the game first or the trainer? If I open the game first, at what point do I open the trainer?
Do I use the hotkeys in game or in the trainer?
Is there a notification when a hotkey works?

first open the game, wait untill you load/create a save, if you load a save, sit at a bonfire to alt-tab out of the game.
open the trainer, you can use the hotkeys anywhere ,
yes there will be a notification for each cheats. feel free to ask more questions if you have any ;p

i can't even get the trainer to work now. it was working fine then it stopped. I'll hit the hotkey and then nothing.

Hmm I still can't seem to get that to work, here's my steps.

1. Start the game (DarkSoulsIII.exe, v 1.03)
2. Load my save file
3. Game is loaded
4. Sit at bon-fire
5. Alt-tab out
6. Start the trainer (Dark Souls 3 V1.03 Trainer +16 MrAntiFun.EXE, right-click -> start as administrator)
7. Go back to game
8. Press F1 (Active Trainer)
9. ... nothing happens
10. Press F2 (Disable Anticheats)
11. ... nothing happens
12. Press F4 (Inf. Stamina)
13. ... still lose stamina

I hate to seem so dumb, just can't get it working.

Right click on MrAntifun's exe. and go to properties and make sure it's not blocked there. I have to remove block on every trainer :/ (There's an uncheck/check box under general in properties). Also, if that is not the case, check if you got any antivirus turned on and turn it off.

You aren't dumb, there seems to be an issue with the trainer itself. It was working perfectly fine for me until today. Now the inputs don't activate anything. I can activate the trainer but that's it, nothing else accepts input

there has not been any results on google for anyone being banned when i search "Dark souls 3 ban" it only shows dark souls 2 bans and those were only soft bans

Except that my issue lies with the new one as well, it won't even activate.

EDIT: apparently restarting the game fixes this issue

i just deleted my comments on his wall
i updated my trainer to +17 and the trainer works for me

you probably need to disable your internet security and add exclusions if it doesn't work for you(restart pc too)

I think the 1.03.1 trainer is worst than the previous version. I actived infinite items but it's not working for some items like estus flask anymore.....

Yeah dude, so you have to expect. In my opinion you can't hack "super unreal" stats with a couple of gamehours. I think you can do Soulshack when ur level 30+ with gametime. There may be an algoryth which is automaticly banning obviously builts.

In DS2 there was this softbanning, some people wrote that you also can get a warning from Frommware, but I didn't have seen any proof yet.
