The trainer functions fairly fine but i can't use infinite skill. How should it be done?

Got the same problem. I've got the game on Steam, but in order to play the game Steam will start UPlay which then launches the game. Same happens when I launch the game through the WeMod trainer and then it says "press start above to use the trainer" which I've already done.

Try launching the game through then alt-tab and click play in WeMod once the game has loaded.
