Is there a way to bypass the Race Creator points?

I tried Cheat Engine and found an address but it's either protected or was being altered by a pointer and either of these are above my current knowledge.

There is a work around:
Create a race and change what you want.
Quit the game.
Go to Documents\My Games\GalCiv3 folder.
There should be a Races or Factions folder with an xml file named after the race you created.
Just add, edit or delete the lines that are the bonuses (good or bad(don't remember the word for bad "bonuses")).

I can post an xml file with all the "good" stuff later, if it's really needed as this is very easy (and boring to do).

This method also works in GalCiv2 (and pretty much every other game that uses xml files like Civ5/BE) although the xml files are structured differently.

Custom race files don't appear to be xml anymore on mine, only file is New Race Name_54D05B4D01AE4166BE705E12C5B0C72F.faction

You guys are right!

Go into GalCiv3 game folder, in the folders, there will be a lot of .xml files one of them is the race definitions.

I'm not sure what is the folder, GalCiv3 is downloading now and I'll post it here ;)

EDIT:
Go into your Steam folder and then: \SteamApps\common\Galactic Civilizations III\data\Game

Open the FactionDefs.xml to edit the Race that you want and the RaceTraitDefs.xml to see the traits that you want, the trait that gives the biggest bonus is always the 1st one.

For example for the Productive trait you have:
Productive1
Productive2
Productive3
Productive4

The trait with the bigger bonus is Productive1 and the worst "bonus" is Productive4
