yep steam trainer is also crashing during cut-scene thought it was the game but it plays correctly when I don't use it re downloaded trainer and still same effect..

Origin version won't download. It says- Failed- Virus detected. The Steam version downloaded fine though. My Mass Effect game is on Origin so hopefully the Steam version trainer will work. It did for Mass Effect 1.

My computer uses Windows 10 and defender virus. I've turned every part of Windows Defender I can think of off and I still can't download the ME2 trainer for Origin. It blocks every time. Is there a trick I don't know of that will allow me to dl the ME2 for Origin trainer?

I previously posted confirming the crashes and even made a donor request to have the trainer updated. I've since deleted these posts because I figured out the problem; embarrassingly enough, it's user error for me and everyone else who has complained.

I posted that it crashes during cutscenes even if you only have Inf. Health enabled but this ended up being untrue. The save file itself was ruined. Going back to a previous save fixed that issue.

So when does it crash during cutscenes?

Well, exactly when Mr. Antifun says it will in the opening post: if you have any resource cheats enabled.

What is a "resource cheat" in this instance? ANY cheat past F4. Mr. Antifun says anything past F5 but I'm not sure that's right as I did have crashes with the Inf. Money cheat enabled (although I'm unsure if this was also with Inf. Fuel); either way, it's something I completely missed (as mentioned, the issue is USER ERROR, not the trainer).

Yes, money, fuel, and probes are classified as resources in the code. The game itself tries to portray paladium and element zero (and the others) as the resources and so that's what I thought the instructions referred to. I completely glossed over Mr. Anti specifically providing which cheats cause the crash. My in-game interpretation is wrong.

Again: MONEY, FUEL, AND PROBES are all classified as resources. If you have these enabled during gameplay, it WILL crash your game during cutscenes.

My advice is to run these cheats once you have the Normandy unlocked, confirm that the resources are maxed, deactivate, save, and reload. You won't have any crashing issues from that point onward. Even if you buy everything, you won't need to reactivate them.

I also need to apologize to Mr. Antifun because, well, I was the "stupid customer" in this instance. I should have made sure to read and reread the instructions before posting and making requests.

Just wanted to leave a comment that the trainer was not activating or giving the usual "trainer activated" sound, and instead gave an error noise. After reading forums on other trainers, I started my game first in windowed mode and then opened up the trainer and the hotkeys activated everything as usual! If anyone else encounters this problem, give that a try. I also noticed crashes at cut scenes, but once I activated the infinite resources, they stayed pretty high so since then I've just been playing with the f1 through f4 cheats and no issues. I'm not running Windows 10 and using the Origin version, if that makes a difference.

Bro, I'm having a nightmare with this exact problem. Some of the hotkeys activate but nothing actually works without the 'Trainer Activate - F1' button, just the windows error noise.
Changed Graphics to window mode, ran as admin then ran trainer as admin and still not working..

I have the Steam version of the trainer, and it works 100% for me. I use Windows 10, have a 42" 4K television as my monitor, and a gaming PC. The problem I am having (Only with M.E. 2. M.E. 1 & 3 Trainers look correct), is that the Trainer opens up squished. I can not see what the actual keys or anything are saying on it, so I just push F1 - F11 (except that if I am in game, F8 reloads my last save, so I have to alt+tab to use it), and it activates and works. Just wondering, since the display on the first page shows only F1 - F10, does the actual cheats start on F2, since F1 is the activator? I wish I could get it to expand a bit, so I could see, but it's working, so I will just go with it. It's just that it's stated to turn F5 - F11 off after resources are acquired, but F5 is money. Should I just turn it on when I get low? So far no issues running it all the time, just wondering.

EDIT: Now for some reason the Mass Effect 3 Trainer is squished as well. Maybe it has something to do with my resolution being in 4K?

Windows 10 will not let me download the file, it says it has a virus (python3) and has been deleted. How to overcome this?

What the heck are you saying? The trainer SHOULDN'T crash no matter what cheat i enable. It's Mr.Antifun's fault if the trainer crashes while activating one of HIS cheats. It's not the """"customer"""" fault, it's the trainer that doesn't work. You're basically saying "hey, if you don't activate the cheat, it will not crash!" OH REALLY??? Would you look at that?? I would have never thought of that!
Classic Mr.Antifun trainer, superficially made without a real care for quality.... well, at least it's free... because i would never pay for something like this....

depuis le partenariat avec wemod les formateur de mass effect 2 et 3 ne fonctionne plus sur origin, le processus wemod et bloquer directement par Origin du coup le program s'arrête direct, je préféré votre formateur car lui fonctionner sans aucun problème c bien dommage de ne plus pouvoir y avoir axé.

since the partnership with wemod the mass effect 2 and 3 trainer no longer works on origin, the wemod process is blocked directly by Origin suddenly the program stops directly, I preferred your trainer because it works without any problem it's a shame to no longer able to focus there.
