The trainer fails to detect that the game is running. What do I do? The thread link doesn't work.

You MAY wish to be more specific. What, exactly, is or isn't happening? Does it just do the "ding" sound and not enable?

1.0.0.257 game version trainer dont work, 100167 also dont work :/ get "ding sound" with f1 but no trainer aktivated.
w10 antivirus deaktivated. played civ 6 at release and i remember trainer worked. but now it doesnt.
any ideas?

edit: tried xx257, 129 and 167, noone worked.. at release they worked..

i dont have rise and fall dlc, only classic version with 100257

I will try the trainer, and see what happens. Did you remember to use the correct version of the 257 version since you don't have the expansion, since there are 2 version of the 257 trainer?

I have tested both trainers, and they appear to enable and work fine with the most recent BT version of the game I have, 257. Switching to standard rules from Rise and Fall also allows me to run the non-DLC trainer, as does playing the Tutorial. Has there been any hotfixes or patches since then I may perhaps be unaware of?

You aren't supposed to be using trainers with multiplayer, man. MAF doesn't support multiplayer with his trainers, and especially says so. In any case, it's a sure way to risk a VAC ban if the software detects you attempting to cheat on a multiplayer game.

I don't know that it does, for sure, but most Steam games have some sort of VAC, especially if they have a multiplayer component, I expect.

To be honest, not sure what to tell you. I'm using the same game version you are, and trainers work just fine for me. Sorry man.

Only Inf.Money and Inf.Faith works for trainer Sid Meier Civilization VI V1.0.0.26 Trainer +5.
Other links either does not work or contains malware.

Odd you are having trouble with the links. What browser are you using? As to the malware alerts, you DO realize that most antimalware treats trainers as generic malware, right, since they alter game code?
