Sadly yes instant research still doesn't work.

After the first activation i cant activate the trainer a 2nd time..

Did you check your Anti-Virus at all?

F11 - Fast construction-recruiting isn't working.

EDIT: Not working for starbases. Ships and armies you build on planets work, but not starbases.

i dont mind the lack of insta research or the iffy fast build, the infa food/min/energy and the max research points are good enough

insta research is needed, especially considering the amount of time it takes to explore the game fully. please fix it up.

while people are waiting for Mr anti Fun to update trainer, there is a mods i can recommend to make the game easier called Stellaris Cheats

Or you could use the ingame console. i'll list the ones i use most:

Battle
Invincible - ships take no damage

Resource
Cash - Add 5k Energy
Minerals - Add 5k Minerals
Influence - Add 1k influence
Unity - add 5k unity

* if you want more than 5k just simply enter the amount. ie cash 55555 will give you 55,555 Energy

Terra-forming <First you must Select Planet>
planet_size 25 -Change size of planet * Do not go above 25 you'll break the game
planet_class pc_gaia- Change planet type to gaia -
planet_resource minerals 50 - Adds Resource type to planet

The trainer itself starts no problem I just can't activate with F1. All I get is a 'pling' sound from my Windows and can't use other codes.

You have to load the save game that you want the trainer to work for. Don't start the trainer before being in-game.

Anyone else have the unlimited FTL option not working, I have ships with the 5th Gen Jump Drives and they are not any faster than my initial hyperspace ships, seems like it takes forever to get anywhere

thats normal. this game is not an easy one to inject to, a new instance needs to be opened. unfortunately because it's being updated so often, normal convenience refinements can't be made to the trainer until they're done with development.

edit: the assembler script for a well-rounded injection is huge for this game, it is not usually so complex for most games.
