i honestly don't mind a lot of the cheats being disabled or not working. (i like when they do though lol) i just like lot's of money and fast research. huzzah for Mrantifun for saving us all from boring, grinding forever!

For instant research it gives you 99,999 research units. Things that have more than that will sit there until you turn the cheat off. I have found if you pause the game, turn the cheat on, then turn it off, swap the research out (even for same research) and turn the cheat on, every time you turn it on it will +99,999 research. DO NOT swap research while cheat is active or you risk crashing.

Example: Looking to research Fortified Core Layers IV that takes 140,000, with trainer activated:
1) Pause Game
2) Select Fortified Core Layers IV ... (Research at 0 / 140,000)
3) F11 - Fast Research On ... (Research increases to 99,999/140,000)
4) F11 - Fast research Off
5) Change Research button to get options
6) Select 'Fortified Core Layers IV' ... (Research remains 99,999 / 140,000)
7) F11 - Fast Research On ... (Research increases to 199,999 / 140,000) ...Research complete!
8) Unpause Game... research complete.
9) Pick new research

Wash, rinse, repeat.

well instant research late game Techs isnt too complicated. The instructions to pause the game and deactivate instant research are not necessary. Just select a Tech wit more then the 99k points. It will show the progress and just sit there. Just click on the Select button again and select the same tech again and suddenly you have finished it because he adds another 99k

If I do that without shutting the cheat off inbetween the game crashes so...

I have used it that way before Terroro as well, but I've noticed that the crash that Holyhandgrenade has mentioned happens occassionally, often enough that I'd rather turn off the cheat and turn it back on to prevent the game from crashing and having to start from my last save.

2.2.6 is still a beta branch. The main release branch is 2.2.5. Iirc Mr Antifun does not usually update trainers for beta branches but for full release updates.

Nope 2.2.6 is no beta branch as of now its the normal game version you download if you are NOT subscribed to any beta

I don't want to advertise here so no links, but since the latest version of the trainer is 2.2.4 you guys may be interested in looking for Cheat Engine table by Recifense for Stellaris 2.2.6 until AntiFun releases 2.2.6 trainer — if you know how to use CE, these scripts are awesome.

You may also combine it with Table Extension for Stellaris by CompactDisc (table merge with the former is possible). Extension is currently only for version 2.2.2 but still works fine in 2.2.6 as long you change its Ethics Points pointer address to

stellaris.exe+11559CC

and Civics Points pointer address to

stellaris.exe+11562C4

Fiddling around with Cheat Engine and scripts yourself may come in handy one day and definitely will make you appreciate AntiFun's work more

Trainer still works even with latest version. Though for some reason the fast construction/recruitment doesn't work, you'll just get a beep error sound

That was said already multiple times tho
But I highly doubt that we will get an update anytime soon so keep using 2.2.4 just without the fast construction.
