I don't think anyone has successfully done a working stealth cheat. At least not to my knowledge. It seems the game's animal sense detection works separately from the visual effect of the sound and sight gauge of the User Interface.
Anyway, thank you to Mr. Antifun for the update.

The camouflage mode does not run the animals are already far away when you have the mode on
