Trainers of any kind stop functioning after a while

Hey guys, I got a more or less serious problem.

If I start the latest trainer version of ROME 2 Emperor Edition, only a Windows sound is played. The only cheat that works is unlimited food.

All the other cheats won't make an activation sound nor turn red.

I see the same problem in game. I do have unlimited food but nothing else.

I disabled the firewall, my anti virus program and started the trainer as administrator. I also tried the compatibilty mode for Win7 (I got Win10) but nothing worked.

I've noticed that many MAF Trainer Users struggle with exact the same problems but nobody finds a solution...

So I'm hoping the almighty MrAntifun can do something against this, otherwise I'll have to cry and go to bed

The game has been updating quite a lot recently. The trainer could just be out of date

I downloaded even older trainer versions for the game. They replied with the activation sound but did not work. So not the same problem...
