I'm getting Trojans from these trainers. Several of them I couldn't even download the trainer without them appearing. Are these fake? Because I re-enabled my anti-virus after downloading and it wouldn't let me open the trainer.

Ya , Our trainers code didn't change for the past 2 years .

If you download an older trainers you will probably get a similar warning , Its pretty much random right now .

I am getting errors now saying Operations did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or unwanted software. never had this happen before until today..

Note this is on Hearts of Iron Trainer 1.4 ... The 1.33 file lets me open it and everything

There's never been any Trojans here, every file I've gotten I've scanned in every Virus and Malware scanner I have and only get anything from Malware Bytes and it's a false positive, if you have issues still then don't use a trainer. It's that simple, most trainers use an injection system to change things in the program, which is why they flag them. MAF uses only CheatEngine to do his trainers and it's completely safe. If you still can't or won't give it a go then there's nothing that can be done for you. Oh and only get your trainers from MAF's official site, here. Others can't be verified to be as nice.

Just whitelist a download folder (not your main downloads folder, create a new one on your desktop) and only download the trainers to that folder, unzip them there and run them from there. Your antivirus should ignore the entire folder. If you don't know how to whitelist a folder, just google it.

They are just false positives. There is no harm on your system.

Well isn't a trainer the very definition of a trojan? it hooks itself to a running process and changes the way that process works.

It doesn't make any harmful things as such but it is a trojan in how it works.

Yeah is an injector and modifies the exe, so yeah it acts like a trojan... False positive.
