Ultimate General Civil War Trainer

I seem to be having some issues with the trainer. Might be a weird setting on my PC for part of it, but more often then not when I try and activate something, it doesn't work, I'll hit the hot key and it will act like it's thinking about doing it then not do it.

Also, when I am able to get it to work, I cannot figure out the armory part. Can someone explain to me what exactly to do?

The armory cheat works by opening the armory, activating the cheat then buying one item (I recommend the cheapest rifle). If successful it should set the available number of every item to 99,999.

My problem with the trainer is that it constantly gets thwarted by antivirus - once I get it up and running, I have to leave the game and it running or go through the hoops all over again to get it running. *muttergrumble*

Well it appears that the trainer options will only activate on a new campaign. If you are attempting to continue a previous campaign the options won't activate.

Add the trainer and if you have it in its own folder to your Anti-Virus' exceptions list.

Pretty much every antivirus sees trainers like this as some kind of virus. They modify files in ways that make the antivirus think the trainer is a virus attempting to do bad things to your computer. As was stated above, add it to your exceptions list for your brand of preferred antivirus. There are tutorials on how to do this on the internet somewhere, just ask google.

Unfortunately only works 3/8: F4(inf.Cond.), F5(inf.Morale), F6(instant reload)

Hey, first time it worked, then I loaded game next day and I cant even activate it with F1

So this is some slightly odd behaviour, I think.

I've downgraded the game on Steam to version 1.04, and the trainer worked the first time I tested after that, but now when I:

Open the game
Then start the trainer
Then press F1

I don't get "Trainer activated". I just get the "could not do this" bing-bong sound from Windows.

Any idea what might be causing it to sometimes not activate in this way?

Update: I tried starting a mission and then using it, and it worked. Not sure if that means it's "time with game open" or "going into a mission" that means F1 works.

The only ones that work for me are the ultimate money and recruits. I've never been able to get the trainer or any of the combat cheats to work. I just get a tone from windows and that is it.

Anyone have any ideas as to how this can be fixed? Yes, I do go in game, select a unit and attack, then activate the trainer along with the other cheats but it never works.
