Disable AV or any PC protection that you might have or add exception in your AV/ Security suite .. MAF's trainers are safe .. Disclaimer: Only do this for MAF not other sites cause I cannot vouch for them ..

I love the game but the options via the various trainers are no match for the save editors for the PS2 emulators .. They made the game way to easy in the HD remaster that you don't even need to use a trainer .. 2 jobs per class and quad speed ..

It depends on where you download said fling trainer from .. Lots of shitty sites running miners so make sure that you access said website with AV turned on .. You can turn off AV once you download the trainer if the site is safe ..

Did you update your OS in any way? Sometime depending on various factors trainer's could take upto a minute to activate atleast on Windows 10 .. Usually I just keep alt+tabbing until I hear the "bing" or "trainer/ cheat activated" ...

If Steam/ Valve vac ban system works similar to Blizzards ban system then you don't want to take a chance .. Blizzard bans if it detects third party software (aka trainers/ mods/ etc ..)
