How does F6 work?

It just happens. The best way to fix it is while using a trainer (with anti-virus software on), add the trainer(s) exe's as exceptions. Or, disabling your antivirus while playing is a quick/swift approach that I do if I'm feeling lazy.

I have no issues with it at all. The 0.21 trainer works fine and well with the current build. Though, they are about to update The Forest to 0.23 build tomorrow. Is your game a Steam copy? If so, I had to run the game through the .exe, rather than through steam directly.
