I have an idea of an alternative, if your good at using cheat engine to make tables and such (I think thats correct?) you can make one that while not as good as the trainer can still function as a temporary fix until the updated trainer is out.

I'm not very experienced with Cheat engine, but I have always found Paradox games to be difficult for me to maneuver in Cheat Engine. That might just be me though...

I would like to mention, Cheat engine its self without any tables made works for the Monarch points, that will provide a good solution till the Update, simply due to having as many MP as you please can make the game easier (need cash? crank up adm and dip points on prov's, need troops? up the Mil points)
