I had this game on PS3 when it came out, and I 100% completed it in a month, been playing other games too, trick is, you just need to finish as fast as possible the easy mode, like 20 times or so, then spamm the hard mode, for better item drops and more challenges, the hardest boss in the whole game is literally the Aeronite, which took me 3 times to kill it. I lost the first one, wasn't prepared and didn't knew it was exist it caught me by surprise, the next battle it escaped from me, the third battle I completely destroyed it. I also finished the game, gone again to it, and challenged it for a fourth battle, though, this time, I had Fang with me, and it really made my battle ten times easier. Just play easy mode to spamm more the freezin time ability and you will do just fine, don't play normal mode, as it is a mix between easy and hard mode and it doesn't give you better rewards like in hard mode. Can't wait to test this, trying to complete everything on PS3 made me kinda anxious cause of that damn countdown...You're awesome
Just testing this, everything seems to work well but the freeze timer is kinda wonky. During one of the first missions, when you have to follow the Children of Etro to the telephone booth, I activated Freeze Time. It then wound the clock back to 23:45 and bugged the mission (sent the children back to their starting place because the mission is only active after midnight). Now, every time I freeze time, it keeps going back to 23:45.
Before that mission though, it worked fine. I could pause and unpause time at any moment and it would stop and start from the displayed times.

Not sure what happened but after following the Etro the pause resets the timer to 23:45. Not sure if it matters or not since I guess you can just sleep to the desired time? And it works fine when you are not using it obviously. Also, the item quantity is not working for some reason. The number I press in the text is always red.
Thanks!
I'm interested in this one, I'm about to test this, but the way I think this should work is to simply wait around and finish this quest part and just activate the freeze time from day 2 or right after the quest is done, I'll test this and see if I'm right.Just testing this, everything seems to work well but the freeze timer is kinda wonky.
