Hey everyone, I downloaded a MrAntiFun trainer for Jade Empire: Special Edition from his official site (mrantifun.net) and I'm getting really worried (https://mrantifun.net/threads/jade-empire-special-edition-trainer.6451/). I'm not tech-savvy at all, I'm just really cautious and want to make sure I'm not running something dangerous.

What I'm seeing:
- 35 out of 71 security vendors flagged this as malicious (like 50% of all AVs)
-There's a file called "DECOMPRESSOR" with 6/71 detections - Dropped files (this's what's really worrying me):
- executable.exe (1/74 detections)
- DECOMPRESSOR (6/71 detections)
- dbghelp.dll (0/71)
- defines.lua (0/62)
- lua5.1-32.dll (1/66)
I've been told trainers usually get like 2-5 detections and that's just false positives. But 35/71 seems way too high for that. Also, I heard MrAntiFun was generally safe before, especially with his partnership with WeMod now. But I'm wondering if maybe his NEW stuff on WeMod is fine, but his OLD stuff on his website (like this trainer from a less popular game) could be malware he planted back when he was just one person with no team checking him? Like, maybe he's improved now with WeMod, but people should still avoid his old trainers on his website? I don't know if that's even true, just a thought.
My question: Can someone who knows more about this confirm if I'm right to be worried? This feels fishy to me but I don't want to accidentally panic everyone.
