any advice to fix this issue or is it just the trainer broken not my ...computer..game...w/e

the steam game updated to version 1.0.3.0530

trainer is still activating 100%


i have no trouble with this trainer outside of it being a bit slow to activate

• First start game world (this is a keypoint) you cannot activate trainer untill you in the gameworld not player creation but actually in the gameworld
• Open inventory once before you activate health , supplies , currency and items cheats
• Select a unit which was attacked and lost health to refill its health --Dont have to do this in latest version
• Open the crafting window first then activate the crafting cheat

in game world = the little camp after creation of your player is completed

once you are in game world and have opened your inv page you can alt+tab to look at the trainer to activate F1-F4 then bring up game screen open the crafting screen then activate F5

Aye it worked thank you, its slow as all hell and for whatever reason it still takes 2 or 3 presses that causes a "ping" noise before it finally says "activated" so i dunno why its doing that but yes, it -does- work now thank you.

you are correct the game updated 1.0.4.0540 the trainer still activated 100% (i did not play test it thou)

I can confirm it's still working. Slower than it was before but it's still working.

Patch 1.04 for Pillars of Eternity dropped yesterday, and according to Obsidian Entertainment, players can expect the next round of fixes to arrive in May.

According to a post on the Kickstarter page, patch 1.04 contained quite a bit of fixes, and going forward, the team plans to continue squishing bugs, adding additional polish and balancing gameplay.

May’s patch 1.05 will include more fixes along with “some additional new features” such as the ability to change player portraits and voice set during the game. New shaders for Afflictions such as Petrified are also in the works.

Patch betas are also being offered, which will allow players to patch in fixes faster while providing and opportunity for the team to find “potential problems in a patch sooner.”


The patches are only being offered on Steam due to technical limitations, but Obsidian’s “investigating getting the patch beta process on GOG,” though the post notes that it may not be possible.

No! Both trainers doesn´t work with patch 1.05.

After steam parch, crafting seems to be working but not the health (using the later version trainer)

I have game version 1.05 with the trainer version 1.02, i can confirm that this trainer works (or at least inf health does) i have not tried the other options yet as i only use god mode.. but i have to remember to open inventory first before pressing F2 inf health.
Edit, I have since tried infinite exp and skills and can confirm they dont work for v1.05

It works for me, try loading game, alt tab, start trainer, when trainer running, back to game open inventory click on a couple of items description etc, back to trainer press f2 wait for cheat activated, back to game unpause all should be well. hope it works for you.
